School Meals
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are all entitled to a free hot meal under the Government's Universal Infant Free School Meal Scheme. However, you can send in a packed lunch from home if preferred.
Our hot meals are provided by The School Lunch Company menu. Meals are freshly prepared every day in our onsite kitchen, using fresh produce from local suppliers.
We are passionate about providing tasty, nutritious and healthy meals for our children as well as the main meal choice they have access to a fresh salad cart, fresh fruit and bread daily.
If you would like your child to have school meals please make your selection on ParentPay ,midnight the Wednesday before. Children in KS1 (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) are entitled to Free School Meals. Children in KS2 (Years 3-6) will be charged for meals, unless eligible for means tested Free School Meals, this is payable via ParentPay.

Eligibility
As of April 2018, If your child is eligible for free school meals, they’ll remain eligible until they finish the phase of schooling (primary or secondary) they’re in on 31 March 2024. – however if you have a sibling starting at a later date your information will need to be checked again
Your child may be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:

Income Support
-
income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
-
income-related Employment and Support Allowance
-
support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
-
the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
-
Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
-
Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
-
Universal Credit - provided you have an annual net earned income not exceeding £7,400 (£616.67 per month)
Children who get paid these benefits directly, instead of through a parent or guardian, can also get free school meals.
Your child may also get free school meals if you get any of these benefits and your child is both:

younger than the compulsory age for starting school
-
in full-time education
If your child is eligible for free school meals, they’ll remain eligible until they finish the phase of schooling (primary or secondary).
